The Chief Minister School Safety Program is a collaborative effort by the Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (UPSDMA). The program has been implemented in two phases, 2019-2022(delayed but due to Covid Pandemic & Lock Down in Uttar Pradesh)and 2023-24, targeting schools across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The program's core objective is to equip students and school staff with the knowledge and skills necessary for disaster preparedness and safety. This initiative recognizes that schools are crucial for a child's development and that safety is paramount for effective education.
